This is a competition to find the best indie or alternative band resident in Catalunya (without record contract).
In 2009 it returns for its second edition.

The contest, which is now in its online voting phase at http://club.scannerfm.com/group/indiependent2009, is sponsored by Jägermeister, with the saucy Private providing secondary sponsorship.

Twenty groups can be voted on, of those 12 will make it through to four rounds of the semi-final. This will happen in Sala Monasterio on the four Saturdays of May. The dates of the semi-finals are May 2, May 9, May 12 and May 16.
