Clubbing in Spain

BARS:
The following bars have been selected specifically because they can show live sports from the UK, Ireland and the USA, and not because they are host to great live music. In some cases you can enjoy live music, but otherwise expect to find football, rugby, GAA, NFL and NBA games.

Premiership, SPL, Champions League etc. Sunday night is NFL party night. All shown on their new Big Screen. Probably the best bar or pub food of all the themed bars, sunday roasts are a speciality. Tel. (34) 93 488 1765

Scobies, Ronda Universitat between Pl. Catalunya and Pl. Universitat
A great Irish bar owned and run by a young Kerry couple, the place has a great atmosphere and is usually bursting with life. All the usual live sporting events, plus Horse racing, Greyhounds, Golf, Rugby and Boxing. Live music Thursdays.

The Fastnet Bar, Ps. Juan de Borbon, 22
All Premiership shown live, great food including possibly the best Irish breakfast in Barcelona, served all day. Tel. (34) 93 295 3005

Across the park from the great Cathedral, this pub has live music from Thursdays through Sundays, and serves food.

A great meeting spot in the heart of the Barri Gothic, a bar and internet cafe, snacks and hot meals available, and a terrace. Staff are multilingual, and many tours and pub crawls set off from, and are arranged, here.

Music studio and production house who specialise in electronic music. They use a ProTools TDM system and do work for DJs, artists, multimedia and TV. They also run courses in music technology software for both beginners and more advanced users.
