Description:
This old factory started operating in 1922 in the metal and clothing industry. During the civil war, the factory was taken over for the production of ammunition. In 2000 all manufacturing (of all types) ceased. In 2002 it was bought by the local Town Hall. Nowadays it is dedicated to social and cultural events: information for youngsters, multipurpose rooms, public library and a technology centre. It has been declared a local heritage site. In the multipurpose room, "La Fàbrica", they run different activities: theatre, cinema, video-display, concerts, conferences, parties, dance events and so on.
