Description:
Astin is a great little find, buried deep in the Borne district, open late, and with a real gritty feel to the place. It's hard to know sometimes whether it'll be open or closed, as it seems to go long periods without opening its doors, so it's a bit unreliable in that sense. The venue suffers from sound-sensitive neighbours, so there's a sound dampening system in place, which means the sound of conversation is often louder than the DJ's output. Locate it by standing at the front door of Santa Maria del Mar Basilica, with your back to it. In front of you three streets go forth, the farthest of the three to the right is the street you should take; look for a red door on the right. Barcelona Rocks hereby implores Nitsa to pay more attention to little Astin, it deserves it. Ever notice how Astin, Nista and Nasti all share the same five letters?
