The tiny bar Pastís is at the bottom of La Ramblas and it's a place of bohemian ambiance and French style decor and music. It holds small format concerts (when you see it you will understand just how small is small). Lately we have heard it is having problems keeping its doors open because the Barcelona city council is trying to close it down because of alleged noise pollution (it's on a residential street) - this is something sadly happening with a lot of venues in Barcelona. We wish them luck in the fight! It is a pity that a bar that opened in 1947 might be forced to shut down this year. We recommend you get their early, hug the bar, and don't get off your seat, for with space for only about 15 seats, Bar Pastis is one of the smallest spots in the city.Location: C/ Santa Mónica, 4, Ciutat Vella, Barcelona 08001
