Description:
The Centre Artesà Tradicionarius (CAT) is the most emblematic venue for traditional and folk music, especially from Catalan-speaking areas. The building in the Gracia district of the city has recently been renovated. C.A.T. organises the popular Tradicionarius music festival annually. It's a quality venue, not too big, not too small, and you can sense it's a centre of Catalan culture as soon as you walk in the door. An attractive bar sits alongside the main venue, and such events as scrabble games and card sessions are run here, making it a centre of activity in this district of Barcelona. It's a fine place to catch a live comedic event, or live music, and such luminaries as Robert Fripp has performed here.Location: Travessia de St. Antoni, 6-8, Gràcia, Barcelona 08012
