MNAC is located on the side of Montjuïc mountain in a privileged location where there are magnificent views of the city of Barcelona. The building where it is located is the Palau Nacional, an emblematic building created for the International Exhibition of 1929. The museum holds all type of arts: sculpture, painting, drawings, posters and photography. The entrance fee in quite expensive, but you'll have the chance to come back any time up to a month in the future. The best option is to visit the museum on the first Sunday of the month because the entrance is free.
