Description:
Mercat de les Flors was built for the 1929 Universal Exposition of Barcelona. After the civil war it had to be reconstructed and it was converted into a flower market (which is where it gets its name). In 1985 it came back into use again, this time as a town hall theatre and with the intention of becoming a reference in the cultural world. Usually it programs dance and theatre but sometimes they hold concerts, especially within festivals like Primavera Sound.Location: C/ Lleida, 59, Sants-Montjuïc, Barcelona 08004
